I am optimistic that Beaumont will thrive as a small, but mighty City. A home for individuals of all ages and families to grow their roots. Our location, our young and vibrant population, and our entrepreneurial spirit will continue to serve us well.
Supporting employment growth where we live and sustaining our natural resources are two critical priorities for the future. I believe we need to be strategic and measured in our approach. This is not an easy task. I will continue to strive for a transparent, caring, and evidence-based approach to achieving our goals.
This past year was a challenging year for individuals, families, businesses, and organizations. Women were particularly disadvantaged by the loss of jobs in female-dominated industries and the additional stresses on their families. I bring a unique perspective to City Council and look forward to serving our community.
